Kevin has 40 years’ taxation experience and advises major corporate clients on all aspects of GST. He is currently named as one of the leading GST advisors in Australia by the International Tax Review.

Kevin was previously a senior partner at PwC where he was the National GST Leader and Chief Executive Officer of PwC Legal. He has also been a senior partner at Deloitte.

Kevin was the inaugural co-chair and is a current member of the ATO’s GST Stewardship group which has a charter to improve the operation and administration of Australia’s GST system. He is also the chair of the Indirect Tax Committee for Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Kevin is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW and of the High Court of Australia. He has been involved in numerous litigation matters involving all areas of indirect tax, including proceedings involving constitutional, administrative and restitutionary law. He has been involved in several landmark GST cases including Qantas and Travelex in the High Court.

Kevin holds a Master of Laws and Bachelor of Arts. In 2020 and 2021, he was the lecturer-in-charge of the ‘Principles of GST Course’ taught to both undergraduate and masters’ students at the University of NSW. Kevin is in demand as a commentator on GST issues and has published numerous papers.

On Australia Day 2022, Kevin was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for service to the law.
